The Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) is a standardized admission test which is MANDATORY for admission to MBBS and BDS Programmes in all public and private sector medical and dental institutions. It is a three hour (90 minutes) pen and paper-based test.

  • • Duration of MDCAT: 3 hours
  • • Minimum Passing Marks for MBBS: 55%
  • • Passing Marks for BDS: 50%
  • • No Negative Marking

session composition

Phase I: Before F.Sc. Exams (Duration: 11 weeks/22 days) (2 days a week) (Friday and Sunday)

  • • F.Sc. Book II (As per PMC syllabus) will be covered
  • • Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • • Extra lectures (45 min) in Phase-1 to be provided by campus as per the schedule

Phase II: After F.Sc. Exams (Duration: 1.5-2 Months) (6 days a week)

  • • Leftover Topics of Phase 1 (If any)
  • • F.Sc. Book I will be covered after F.Sc. exams
  • • Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • • English and Logical Reasoning as per PMC syllabus
  • • FLPs (SWIFT & Full Course) in phase-2
